I think this question is important because it all depends on your mindset and the way you view the day spent. The complication is that it’s already called ‘lazy days’, which forces you to look at it in an unfavorable way as opposed to a positive way.
It’s all about our way of thinking and perspective; If you just had a busy long week and decided to take a day off. You may feel comfortable calling it a lazy day compared to someone who spends most of their time at home relaxing and doing what we may consider a ‘lazy day’.
A lazy day is considered a day of rest, therefore in my opinion I will always treasure lazy days regardless of what I was doing on the prior days. It may have been a long busy week or an already soothing week; but for me a lazy day is where I create boundaries to protect and preserve my body mentally and physically.
Lazy days are a reset and I think more people should take them without the feeling of guilt. If you don’t take care of your body eventually it will caution you. Take those lazy days!
