My Partial Fast – Leading into the new year

I decided in preparation for the new year and to honor the holiday season; I will be doing a partial fast the three weeks leading to the new year 2025..

In the new year I plan on strengthening my relationship with God and I think this is a great way to lead into the new year. It allows me to discipline and ground myself with the lord. I want to build my relationship with God not only during hard times but especially during the good times.

Daniel 10:3 King James Version

I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

My Partial Fast Plan

Breakfast
In the morning, read the bible and then break into prayer before eating.
I will only be eating fruits and vegetables for my breakfast

Lunch
I will be skipping my lunch and can only snack on nuts and fruit during this time.

Dinner
Before eating my dinner I will break into prayer.
During this month I will be only eating white meat no red meats.

Foods/drinks I’m avoiding during fast:

Sweets
Drinks ( fruit and vegetable juices only)
Alcoholic Beverages
Caffeine

As part of my partial fast I will be abstinence from worldly things such as:
– Music that is not gospel or holiday music
– Swearing

-Social media
