Social media can have a big impact, and as much as we shouldn’t fall for everything we see, I fell into the trap of Korean skincare—and I’ve reaped the benefits ever since. Korean skincare is definitely worth the hype!

Hyperpigmentation & Acne
My skin journey has included battling hyperpigmentation and hormonal acne. Despite my belief in consistency with skincare, I’ve tried countless products along the way.
ANUA – Korean Skincare Brand:
So far, the only Korean brand I’ve tried is ANUA. While ‘achieving glass skin’ wasn’t my main goal, it’s delivered quick benefits, such as a healthy glow within weeks, which helped mask my hyperpigmentation . This motivated me to continue using it for even better results.
Acne scars take time to fade. Skincare products targeting dark spots work on older scars first, so therefore progress may seem slow at first. However, with time, you’ll begin to see noticeable results.

TWNSKN Soap 2 in 1 | Half Oat Exfoliant
I found the skincare brand TWNSKN on Twitter and love their two-in-one oat and turmeric soap. It’s gentle on the skin and helps with both acne and hyperpigmentation. There’s also a lot of excitement about pairing TWNSKN with Korean skincare.
They also have the soaps individually that target the specified skincare products.
Have you tried any Korean Skincare Products?
