Recognize & Challenge Your Negative Thoughts

Become aware and notice your negative thoughts as they happen. Negative thoughts come from fear and anxiety. It might be from a bad experience or an ingrained belief in our head.

– Write down the thought to see it clearly. Question its truth.
– Flip it and replace it into a positive affirmation.
-Example: “I am not good enough” becomes “I am learning and growing every day.”

Practice Gratitude To Help Shift Perspective

Gratitude helps to rewire your brain to focus on the positive and abundance rather than the lack of. There are so many things to be grateful no matter how small.

Practice gratitude by focusing on what you have. When negative thoughts arise about what you don’t have, write down three things you’re thankful for.

Vision Board

Create a vision board to visualize your goals; this demonstrates your commitment, while finding daily small ways to achieve them.

Example: ‘Financial Stress’ : Cutting down spending on things you don’t necessarily need.

Reinterpret The Narrative

The Brain believes the stories you tell it, so it is important to change your mindset by shifting the narrative.

A great example would be when you fail at something. Instead of saying “I failed,” express the things you learned from the experience.

Rewiring your brain doesn’t happen overnight. It is about being consistent in your effort to change negative thought patterns into positive ones. This leads to gradual life transformation and a more confident mindset.
