Everyday is a fresh start and every month allows us to reset, refresh and renew. It is important to refresh your space, mind and body every month. It invites growth, the new lessons we learn help mold and motivate us to do better.
Monthly Reset Routine Guide:
- Reflect on the Previous Month
Think about the ups and downs from last month; write them down if you have to. Take some time to reflect on one negative and positive thing that happened from that month. Write down one lesson you would tell old self now that is is over. Keep that lesson and carry it with you into the next month.
2. Reset Your Space
Deep clean or declutter an area in your space. It can be messy drawer, a whole room, or even laundry that has been sitting from last month. It helps carry a positive start to the month. Restock on cleaning items, groceries, self care items etc. Step into the new season and embrace it find some decorative items to fit the season.
3. Reset Your Mind & Body
Establish healthy boundaries that can help you mentally. For example, consider a digital detox for this month. Alternatively, find something you think needs changing and you want to work on. Schedule the important appointments. It can be a maintenance day for you, like doing your nails. Book that therapy appointment or do a simple checkup at the doctor’s to care for your body. Find something that will help improve your body physically.
4. Set A Goal
Set a goal you would like to achieve for this month. No matter how small, it’s important to challenge yourself. This will help you see growth and improvement. It can be a mental or physical goal, anything that enables you to feel accomplished.
